The Walt Disney Concert Hall is one of four halls in this music precinct but its prominence on South Grand Avenue has made it synonymous with music in the City. The curves of the stainless steel exterior were inspired by Frank Gehry's love of sailing. I had thought they might have represented flying sheet music as the Hall is home to the LA Philharmonic. It was completed in 2003 and I think it's impossible to take a bad photo of it.
