Train wheels are stamped from steel discs in this mill at about 1000 degrees. The wheel is held by two arms while it is sprayed with jets of water to cool it. Steam fills the mill and the arm tilts the wheel vertical for about half a second. The operator is visible in the cabin on the far left.
