This is a peaceful Sunday morning in the Flatiron neighbourhood of New York City. The order of this shot looks like the establishing scene of a 1950s movie set in a town where nothing out of the ordinary ever happens - until this day!
Walking down Broadway I noticed the Broadway Café sign and the sun reflections on the road so I crossed part way over the road to get more of them in the camera frame. I stood in the middle of the road and shot a few frames as the central woman walked towards the huge entrance of the Townsend Building. I like that there's several other 'actors' on the street but they're mostly shadows and don't intrude into her frame space or detract from the building entrance.
